Here you will always find the most up-to-date information on how to play on our server.

1. Create website account.
You need a website account to play at our server.

2. Install retail copy of WoW Wrath of the Lich King.
After you log in to your website account, you can go to Account -> WotLK Client Download page for more info about patches needed and download links.
Though newer official patches may be available, be sure to use the exact client version mentioned on that page.

3. Edit or download your realmlist.
Browse to your World of Warcraft installation directory: Wow -> Data -> enGB(US) and edit the file "realmlist.wtf" with a text editor like NotePad on Windows.
Change the contents of the file to: "set realmlist logon.alphawow.net".
If you don't want to edit the file yourself, you can also download it.

4. Create an ingame account.
After you log in to your website account, you will need to create an ingame account for the server. Go to Account -> Add account. You can create a maximum of 4 ingame accounts. The account names are assigned by the server and you cannot rename them.

5. Make sure to read the Server rules!
Make sure that you read and acknowledge the Server Rules. Breaking them will lead to unpleasant consequences for your characters and accounts.

6. Play!
Do not use the Launcher.exe, just start the game with WoW.exe.
If you are unable to connect, check the server status and restart WoW.
