| We updated the server to revision 3.3.5a. As usually you can find the necessary update information on the WotLK Client Download page of the account management section. As we don't want to throw multiple updates together, content updates will follow once the core has proven itself to be stable. Make sure your realmlist.wtf still points to our server. |  |

| After having registrations closed/limited for almost a year we now want to give everyone the chance to obtain an account again. Over the last three years AlphaWoW has proven being able to provide an experience without larger reoccurring downtimes, full database wipes, server-sided latency and recently even a pretty low amount of crashes. We're constantly working on improving the ingame experience by keeping in touch with the community and actively developing fixes. Having a stable environment and plenty of capacity left we're now granting more people access to this community. So, no matter if you are an experienced WoW player or starting fresh, if you know some basic English and have a certain amount of common sense, feel free to file an account application using the following link. | The WotLK Client Download page of the account management section has been updated with information about patching up to revision 3.3.3a. Also note: Since the integration of World of Warcraft with Blizzard's BattleNet, the login screen now wants an email and a password. This does not apply for us, you should be able to log in with your usual login data. Also make sure your realmlist.wtf still points to our server. Remember the new location of the file is the "Data/xxXX" folder (xxXX matching your client's language version, i.e. enUS or enGB). |  |

| After a major conversion marathon finnally World of Warcraft's latest addon is running live on our server. Thanks to all people who contributed to make this work. For those who still don't have the required client yet, there is a special page in the account management section helping you with the setup process. All login data including the realmlist remain the same. Together with the conversion there was a cleanup of unused characters which we hold reguarly (see rules section). Only the characters that got removed during this cleanup can be subject do restoration donation. Characters that got deleted during the TBC phase of the server will not be restored anymore. Next thing on "the list" is a major change to the invitation system more information about that at a later point. Also credits go to Vero for her spring theme for the website. |  |
